Goregaon: On behalf of Vanami Foundation here, a program of planting banyan tree saplings and turmeric kunkwa was organized at Gram Panchayat Kalimati on Monday (Date 20). Sarpanch Madhavi Dongre was the chairman of the program. Pushpagita Bopche, Deepa Katre, Mrs. Bopche, Padma Bhandarkar, Pustakala were the chief guests. Chavan, Manju Bopche, Jyoti Patle, Shobha Yawalkar, Sindhu Patle, Devagan Rahangdale, Bhumeshwari Chavan, Sagan Rahangdale, Neeta Chavan were present. The importance of the banyan tree was explained by the director of the foundation, Sonali Sakhre. The program was conducted by Tatvrekha Rahangdale. Sarita Raut proposed the vote of thanks.
